Problem
Design and build suspension parts for a formula-style competition vehicle, then support chassis testing with physical specimens.
Constraint
Every part had to fit the vehicle's interfaces and be practical for a student team to manufacture and install.
What I did
- Designed and manufactured T-hats and toe links for the competition vehicle. Testing preceded installation on the car.
- Fabricated carbon-fiber test panels used to evaluate the structural performance of the unibody chassis.
