Problem / objective

Support suspension-team development work for a student-designed Formula SAE vehicle.

Design process

  • Designed, manufactured, tested, and installed parts for a formula-style competition vehicle.
  • Fabricated carbon-fiber test panels for evaluating the structural performance of the unibody chassis.
  • Reviewed design and manufacturing work within a collaborative student engineering environment.

Technical decisions

Design rationale and final geometry — add after confirming what can be shared.

Testing & validation

Composite test data and vibration test details — add when available.

Results

Final component outcome and vehicle integration notes — add when available.

Challenges

Applying classroom design principles to a real vehicle with team, packaging, and manufacturing constraints.

What I learned

How structured collaboration and iteration support vehicle-level engineering work.
