MAJCK B1 Leaf Blower
A concept for a quieter professional blower, pairing sequential impellers and a variable-geometry outlet with an entry plan for landscaping companies.

- CEO & Technical Lead

- Type
- Team venture concept
Problem
Noise rules in more than 200 municipalities are limiting gas-blower use and the contracts landscaping operators can pursue.
Constraint
The concept used a 65 dB design target and $700 retail target. Neither figure came from physical testing.
What I did
- Led the technical concept for a low-RPM four-stroke engine driving sequential impellers. Added a variable-geometry tip and a flow-optimized tube to the proposed system.
- Served as CEO and set the venture's product position with the team. Helped define the entry market and sales channels, then mapped the proposed growth path.
- Developed the technical targets and contributed to a three-year financial model. The model covered unit sales and cost of goods, with separate projections for margins and replacement-parts revenue. It also modeled break-even.
Result
- Presented an integrated product and business case built around a 700 CFM airflow target and 65 dB noise target at a proposed $700 retail price. The market plan moved from landscaping companies to property managers before pursuing public-works buyers.
